Curried chicken puffs
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- Parkay margarine - 1/3 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2/3 c
- water - 1/2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- green onion slices - 2 Tbsp
- chopped cooked chicken
- slivered almonds toasted - 1/3 c
- dash of curry powder - 1 item
How to make curried chicken puffs:
Bring water and margarine to boil. Add flour and dash of salt, stir vigorously over low heat until mixture forms ball. Remove from heat, add eggs, one at a time, beating until smooth after each addition. Place level measuring tablespoon of batter on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 25 minutes. Cool.Combine cream cheese, milk, 1/4 teaspoon salt, curry powder and pepper, mixing until well blended. Add chicken, almonds and onions, mix lightly. Cut tops from cream puffs. Fill with chicken mixture. Replace tops. Place puffs on cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 5 minutes or until warm.
