Dill pickles



  • salt - 1 c
  • water - 3 qt
  • vinegar - 1 qt
  • dill - 1 item
  • garlic optional - 1 item

How to make dill pickles:

Pack cucumbers in jars with dill top and bottom of jar. Can add 2 cloves garlic. Pour boiling solution over cucumbers and seal jars. (Have jars and lids sterile and hot.) Some recommend not using city water.
