Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 6 Tbsp
- sugar - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- egg yolk - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- Italian bread crumbs - 1 c
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- white vinegar - 1/2 c
- Drain and squeeze out all excess moisture
How to make spinach balls:
Thaw spinach. Drain and squeeze out all excess moisture. Blend in other ingredients. Shape into small balls (approximately 40). Refrigerate or freeze. Bake on a lightly greased baking sheet at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Serve with Spicy Mustard Sauce.Spicy Mustard Sauce:1/2 c. dry mustard1/2 c. white vinegar1/2 c. sugar1 egg yolk Heat mustard, vinegar and sugar over low heat. Whisk 1 tablespoon of mustard into beaten egg. Return egg mixture to saucepan and simmer until slightly thickened. Cover; store in refrigerator. Serve at room temperature.
