- flour
- water - 3/4 c
- paprika
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- garlic salt - 1 Tbsp
- black pepper
- poultry seasoning - 1/4 tsp
- beaten egg yolk - 1 item
- Crispy Batter:2/3 c
How to make crispy fried chicken:
Combine ingredients and set aside.Crispy Batter:2/3 c. flour1/2 tsp. salt1/8 tsp. pepper1 beaten egg yolk3/4 c. water Combine egg yolk and water; add gradually to ingredients. Heat Crisco to 365° to depth of 2 inches. Moisten chicken pieces in moist batter, then in seasoned flour, then batter, then flour.
