  • eggs - 4 item
  • cup flour - 1 item
  • cup margarine - 1/2 item
  • cup boiling water - 1 item
  • teaspoon salt - 1/2 item

How to make cream puffs:

Melt butter in boiling water and add flour and salt all at once. Cook and stir until mixture forms a ball that won't separate. Cool add eggs one at a time beating after each until smooth. Drop by heaping tablespoon full 3 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° until golden brown and puffy about 30 minutes. Remove from oven and split while warm. Cool on rack. Fill with pudding or cream filling.
