Popcorn cake
Ingredients/Components
- plus 2 tsp - 1/4 c
- popped popcorn plain, unsalted and unbuttered - 12 c
- lightly salted cocktail peanuts - 1 c
- stick unsalted butter - 1 item
- marshmallows - 1 lb
How to make popcorn cake:
Grease large tube/Bundt pan with 2 teaspoons of oil and set aside. In large bowl, mix popcorn, M&M's and peanuts. In small saucepan, melt butter, oil and marshmallows, stirring constantly. When melted, pour over popcorn mixture and stir to combine. Pour into greased pan, pressing down to fit. Cover with foil to keep moist and let stand until firm, 3 to 4 hours.To serve, invert pan onto a large plate or platter. Shake gently to release. Cut into wedges and serve at room temperature.
