Cream of potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- skim milk - 4 c
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- sliced carrots - 1/2 c
- sliced celery - 1 c
- slices bacon - 6 item
- sliced potatoes - 6 c
How to make cream of potato soup:
Cook the potatoes and carrots in boiling water until tender. Drain. Saute bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels and crumble. Saute onion and celery until tender. Combine potatoes, carrots, onion/celery mixture, bacon and milk in pot. Simmer for 30 minRecipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Bisques/cream soups.
