Cornbread salad
Ingredients/Components
- mayonnaise
- tomatoes, chopped - 1 c
- celery, chopped - 1/2 c
- sweet pickle juice - 1/2 c
- green onions, diced - 1/2 c
- chopped dill pickles - 1/2 c
- can pinto beans, drained and rinsed - 1 item
- crisp bacon slices, crumbled - 2 item
- green pepper, diced small - 1/4 c
- box cornbread mix - 1 item
How to make cornbread salad:
Bake cornbread mix and cool. Break into pieces in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Layer in pan, pinto beans, bacon, celery, pepper, tomatoes, onions and pickles. Mix mayonnaise with sweet pickle juice and pour over the top. Refrigerate overnight.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Breads, Salads.
