Corn relish
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1 2
- water - 1 c
- vinegar - 4 c
- dry mustard - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onions - 1 c
- celery seed - 1 Tbsp
- shredded cabbage - 4 c
- mustard seed - 1 Tbsp
- turmeric - 1 Tbsp
- cooked, cut corn - 2 qt
- chopped sweet peppers red, green or mixed - 2 c
How to make corn relish:
In a large kettle, combine all the ingredients and bring slowly to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes and pack boiling hot into hot jars. Seal at once.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Corn.
