Corn relish
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 3 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- cider vinegar - 1 c
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- celery seed - 3 tsp
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- pickle relish - 1/2 c
- mustard seed - 2 tsp
- turmeric - 1 tsp
- can creamed corn - 1 item
- cans whole kernel corn - 4 item
- jar pimento, chopped - 1 oz
How to make corn relish:
Combine everything but cornstarch, relish and pimentos. Heat for 5 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons cornstarch. Take off stove and add relish and pimentos. Put in 4 half-pint jars and store in refrigerator. Great to serve with hamburgers, hot dogs or vegetables.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Corn.
