Corn relish
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt
- cider vinegar - 2 c
- celery seed
- shredded cabbage - 2 c
- chopped cucumber - 2 c
- turmeric - 1/2 tsp
- corn, cut from cob - 2 c
- chopped onions 2 large - 2 c
- chopped ripe tomatoes 3 medium, peeled and seeded - 2 c
How to make corn relish:
Mix chopped vegetables together in a large saucepan. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boiling, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, uncovered. Put into containers; seal. Makes about 1 quart.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Corn.
