Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- onion, chopped fine - 1/2 c
- green pepper, chopped fine - 1/2 c
- celery, chopped fine - 1/2 c
- large can Shoepeg or white corn - 1 item
- large can French-cut green beans - 1 item
How to make corn casserole:
Combine Shoepeg or white corn, green beans, celery soup, onion, green pepper, celery and sour cream. Add salt and pepper. Mix all ingredients well and put into casserole. Mix 1 cup bread crumbs with 1/2 cup melted butter. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake uncovered at 350° for 45 minutes. Add a little dill before mixing and when sauteing bread crumbs in butter, add a bit of thyme.Recipe categories: Side dish, Corn, Casseroles.
