Cold spaghetti salad
Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano to taste - 1 item
- black pepper to taste - 1 item
- spaghetti - 1 lb
- medium cucumber, seeded and coarsely chopped - 1 item
- medium tomatoes, chopped - 3 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- jar Salad Supreme spice - 1 item
- bottle Italian dressing - 1 item
How to make cold spaghetti salad:
Cook spaghetti to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain. Rinse with cold water. Allow to drain well. Brown ground beef and season to taste with oregano and black pepper. Drain in colander to get all grease out. In a large bowl, combine spaghetti, beef and all vegetables. Sprinkle Salad Supreme over this mixture and add dressing last, tossing to cover all ingredients well. Cover and refrigerate to blend flavors. Makes 8 servings.Variations: Any of the following can be added: zucchini, carrots, ripe olives, green onions, broccoli florets, Mozzarella cheese or Parmesan cheese. Medium shell or corkscrew macaroni can be substituted for spaghetti.
