Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- clam juice - 1/2 c
- chopped clams - 1/2 c
How to make clam cakes:
Beat eggs, milk, clam juice and chopped clams slightly with a spoon. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix until flour mixture disappears. Drop, by spoonfuls, into hot, deep fat. Cook 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Main dish, Clams.
