Cinnamon hard candy
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- water - 2 c
- powdered sugar - 1 item
- white Karo syrup
- cinnamon oil - 1 tsp
- a few drops red food color - 1 item
How to make cinnamon hard candy:
Boil sugar, water and Karo syrup in a heavy pan to 300° (hard crack stage); add oil and color. Remove from heat. Line cookie pan with aluminum foil. Pour in candy and place in freezer. When set, break in pieces and toss in powdered sugar.Recipe categories: Christmas, Kid Friendly, Sweet.
