Cornbread dressing

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• eggs - 2 item
• milk
• salt
• oil
• soda
• buttermilk
• baking powder - 2 tsp
• stick butter - 1 item
• egg, beaten - 1 item
• pepper
• chicken broth - 1 item
• celery, chopped
• onion, chopped fine - 1 item
• corn meal
• can biscuits - 1 item
• to 2 onions - 1 item
• skillet Cornbread - 1 item
• slivered almonds or water chestnuts - 1 item

How to make cornbread dressing:

Cook turkey or chicken until done. Bake Cornbread and biscuits day before. Crumble both. Saute onion and celery in butter. Add all remaining ingredients and mix well. Place in baking dish; top with almonds or water chestnuts and bake.
