Cinnamon hard candy
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 1 item
- light corn syrup - 2 Tbsp
- few drops red food coloring - 1 item
- to 4 drops oil of cinnamon - 2 item
How to make cinnamon hard candy:
Cook sugar, water, corn syrup and food coloring to very hard crack stage (300°). Add oil of cinnamon; stir slightly to mix in oil. Pour onto well-greased cookie sheet, cool. Crack into pieces. Dust with powdered sugar.Note: Any color or flavoring can be substituted.
