Cinnamon hard candy
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- water - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 1 item
- red food coloring - 1 tsp
- white corn syrup - 1 c
- cinnamon oil - 1 tsp
How to make cinnamon hard candy:
Combine first 3 ingredients; bring to boil and keep boiling until temperature on candy thermometer reaches 300°. Remove from heat and add oil and food coloring. Pour onto cookie sheet; let set until hard and cool. Break into pieces with knife and dip into powdered sugar.Recipe categories: Christmas, Kid Friendly, Sweet.
