Cinnamon crunch coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder
- shortening - 1/3 c
How to make cinnamon crunch coffee cake:
Topping:2/3 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. flour2 Tbsp. butter1 c. chopped nuts In large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and sugar. Blend in shortening and milk. Beat 1 1/2 minutes. Add eggs; beat 1 minute more. Pour 1/3 batter in pan.Topping: Combine brown sugar and flour until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Sprinkle 1/2 topping on batter. Pour remaining batter on top; sprinkle with remaining topping. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
