Cinnamon crunch coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1/4 tsp
- milk - 3 4
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- soft butter - 1/4 c
- sifted confectioners sugar - 3/4 c
- warm water - 1 c
- white sugar - 2 Tbsp
- plus 2 Tbsp
- yeast
How to make cinnamon crunch coffee cake:
Sprinkle yeast over water. Stir until dissolved. Add eggs, white sugar, salt and 2 1/2 cups flour. Blend thoroughly. Beat about 50 strokes. Spread in well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Let rise at 85° to 90° for 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes until light and doubled in size. Combine next 4 ingredients and remaining flour. Sprinkle over dough. Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown. Blend remaining ingredients together. Spread over top of coffee cake.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, For large groups, Time to make.
