Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- raisins - 1 c
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- ground nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- apple juice - 1/2 c
- dried currants - 1/2 c
- green apples, peeled, quartered and chopped into chunks - 6 lb
How to make chunky applesauce:
Combine all ingredients in heavy saucepan. Cover and cook over medium-low heat until apples are tender, stirring occasionally, about 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Sweet sauces, Sauces.
