Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- hot milk - 2 c
- cinnamon or nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- 8-inch unbaked pie crust - 1 item
How to make custard pie:
Beat eggs, add sugar, salt, cinnamon or nutmeg and milk. Mix well. Pour into unbaked crust. Place in a very hot oven at 450° for 10 minutes. Decrease heat to 325° and cook until set, about 30 minutes.Note: One cup coconut can be added, if desired.
