Chocolate chip or m&m's cookies

Ingredients/Components

• butter, softened - 1 c
• sugar - 3/4 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• unsifted flour
• light brown sugar, packed - 3/4 c
• semi-sweet chocolate chips or 1 1/2 c - 2 c

How to make chocolate chip or m&m's cookies:

Cream sugar, butter, brown sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually beat into creamed mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet.
