Heavenly turtle pie
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla extract - 1 Tbsp
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1/2 c
- whipping cream - 1/4 c
- pecan halves - 1 c
- can sweetened condensed milk - 1 oz
- 9-inch pie shell, baked - 1 item
How to make heavenly turtle pie:
In medium saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, nuts and vanilla. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and begins to pull away from sides of pan, about 10 to 12 minutes. Spread nut mixture in bottom of baked pie shell.In small saucepan, combine chocolate chips and cream; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts and combines with cream. Pour over pie filling; chill. Remove pie from refrigerator 1 hour before serving. Makes 8 to 12 servings. (Ultra rich!)
