  • butter, softened - 1 c
  • sugar
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • pkg - 12 oz
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • baking soda - 3/4 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 2 c

How to make doubly chocolate cookies:

Heat oven to 350°. In large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add to butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or just until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet. Makes about 4 dozen.
