Chocolate caramels
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- milk - 1 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- white corn syrup - 1 c
How to make chocolate caramels:
Combine cocoa, sugar, milk and corn syrup in saucepan. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until when a small quantity dropped into cold water forms a hard ball. Remove from heat; add vanilla, margarine and salt. Drop by teaspoonful onto a greased baking sheet. Cool and enjoy.Recipe categories: Chocolate, Broil/grill, < 30 mins.
