Chocolate caramels



  • sugar - 2 c
  • milk - 1 c
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • margarine - 1 Tbsp
  • white corn syrup - 1 c

How to make chocolate caramels:

Combine cocoa, sugar, milk and corn syrup in saucepan. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until when a small quantity dropped into cold water forms a hard ball. Remove from heat; add vanilla, margarine and salt. Drop by teaspoonful onto a greased baking sheet. Cool and enjoy.
