Chilled lemon chicken
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- mayonnaise
- white wine - 1/2 c
- boneless chicken breasts - 1 pkg
- bottle Italian dressing - 1/2 c
How to make chilled lemon chicken:
Sauce:1 1/2 c. mayonnaise1/4 c. lemon juice In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken and saute until browned, about 10 minutes. Add wine and cook to reduce to about 1/3 cup. Add Italian dressing. Remove chicken to ovenproof dish and pour liquid over chicken. Cover and bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, basting several times. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. Remove chicken and refrigerate until chilled or overnight. Before serving, mix together sauce ingredients. Spoon over chicken and serve.
