Chili rellenos
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 3/4 c
- small can tomato sauce - 1 item
- brick Jack cheese - 1 item
- brick sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- cans Ortega chilies - 2 oz
How to make chili rellenos:
Grate all cheese. Split whole chilies and remove seeds. In flat buttered baking dish, layer 1/2 chilies, 1/2 cheese, 1/2 chilies and 1/2 cheese.Beat eggs, flour and milk; pour over cheese and chilies. Bake 30 minutes at 350°. Pour tomato sauce over top and bake 15 minutes longer.
