Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 c
- chili powder - 3 Tbsp
- ground beef - 2 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- cayenne - 1/2 tsp
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- beef stock - 1/2 c
- cumin - 1 tsp
- cans red kidney beans - 3 lb
How to make chili:
Heat shortening in a skillet and brown beef. Combine all ingredients in crock-pot. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or cook on high for 5 hours or cook on auto for 6 hours.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
