Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1 2
- ground beef - 1 lb
- fat - 4 tsp
- celery - 1 c
- green pepper - 1/2 item
- onions - 1 c
- canned tomatoes - 2 c
- small clove garlic - 1 item
- red kidney beans - 2 c
How to make chili:
Melt fat. Add onions, pepper, celery and garlic. Cook until partly tender. Add beef and cook until light brown. Add tomatoes, chili powder and 2 tablespoons water. Add salt and sugar. Bring to boil, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add beans and heat well.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
