  • water - 6 c
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • catsup - 1/4 c
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • ground beef
  • carrots - 2 c
  • barley - 1/3 c
  • bay leaves - 2 item
  • celery
  • green pepper - 1/2 c
  • beef bouillon cubes - 3 item
  • onions
  • can crushed tomatoes - 1 oz

How to make hamburger soup:

In large Dutch oven brown ground beef, drain, stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hour or until vegetables and barley are tender.
