Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- chili powder - 3 Tbsp
- oregano - 1 Tbsp
- dash of salt and pepper - 1 item
- onions, chopped - 2 c
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- bay leaves - 2 item
- garlic, chopped - 1 Tbsp
- beef stock - 1 c
- cumin - 2 tsp
- green peppers, chopped - 1 c
- red kidney beans - 2 c
- dash of red pepper flakes - 1 item
- tomatoes, crushed - 3 c
- each beef and pork, cubed - 1 lb
How to make chili:
Bring all ingredients, except kidney beans, to a boil and then simmer for 20 minutes. Add kidney beans and cook for 10 minutes more. When serving in bowls, sprinkle chopped Monterey Jack cheese, chopped onion and sour cream on top.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
