Chicken taco rice
Ingredients/Components
- water
- oil
- 8 oz
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- taco seasoning mix - 1 pkg
- boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips - 1 lb
- Birds Eye sweet corn, thawed and drained - 1 c
- original Minute rice or Minute premium long grain rice
- medium red pepper, cut into small strips - 1 item
How to make chicken taco rice:
Cook and stir chicken in hot oil until lightly browned. Add water, tomato sauce and seasoning mix; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add corn and red pepper. Bring to a full boil. Stir in rice. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes; fluff with fork. Sprinkle with cheese.
