Chicken strips
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- flour - 1/2 c
- water - 2 c
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- small can mushroom pieces - 1 item
- whole chicken breasts skin removed - 2 item
How to make chicken strips:
Heat oven to 350°. Cut chicken breasts into strips. Mix flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a small bowl; coat strips. Melt butter or margarine in frying pan and saute coated strips for 5 minutes. Place sauteed strips in baking dish and set aside.To frying pan, add 2 cups water, mushrooms and bouillon cubes. Heat to boiling, then pour over chicken. Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
This is especially good served with rice. Makes approximately 4 servings.
