Creamy chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- whole chicken breasts - 2 item
- stick margarine, melted - 1/2 item
- sleeve Ritz crackers - 1/2 item
How to make creamy chicken casserole:
Gently simmer chicken until tender (approximately 20 minutes). Remove chicken from the bone and cut up in small chunks.Mix together the sour cream and cream of chicken soup. Add chicken to sour cream mixture and pour into greased 8 x 8-inch casserole dish.
Mix melted margarine with 1 cup of Ritz cracker crumbs; sprinkle over chicken mixture.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes or until bubbly and the cracker crumb topping is browned. Serve over cooked rice. Serves 4.
