Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 3 oz
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- can Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls - 8 oz
- butter or melted oleo - 3 Tbsp
- cooked cube chicken - 2 c
- seasoned croutons or bread crumbs, crumbled - 3/4 c
How to make chicken squares:
Preheat oven to 350°. In medium bowl, blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons butter until smooth. Add next six ingredients; mix well. Separate crescent rolls into four; close perforations. Spoon 1/2 cup mixture into center of rectangle. Pull four corners of dough to top and seal tightly. Brush top with cup of remaining butter; dip in crumbs.
