Chicken spaghetti
Ingredients/Components
- salad oil - 1 item
- chicken broth - 1 qt
- vermicelli - 2 boxes
- can tomatoes - 20 oz
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 lb
- medium onions, chopped - 3 item
- bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- can olives optional - 1 item
- button garlic, chopped - 1 item
- cans mushroom pieces - 2 oz
- hen or 2 small
- chili brick remove any fat
How to make chicken spaghetti:
Cook hen until tender in small amount of water; remove from bone and cut into bite-sized pieces. Saute green pepper, garlic and onions in little salad oil. Add chicken broth and then add tomatoes, chili and mushroom liquid. Simmer mixture slowly until chili is dissolved, about 30 minutes. Cook vermicelli as directed on box. In large (or two medium) casserole, put layers of vermicelli, cheese, chicken and chili mixture. On top layer place mushrooms and more cheese. Bake at 250° for 1 1/2 hours.
