Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- grated cheese - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- grated onion - 1 tsp
- cream of chicken soup - 3/4 c
- m - 1/2 tsp
- crushed potato chips - 1 c
- small can sliced mushrooms - 1 item
- cooked cut up chicken - 4 c
- hard-cooked eggs chop - 2 item
How to make hot chicken salad:
Combine all ingredients except cheese and potato chips. Place in greased rectangular baking dish. Top with cheese and potato chips. Let stand in refrigerator overnight. Bake at 400° for 25 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.Variation: Substitute 1 large and 1 medium can white meat tuna for chicken and 1 can cream of mushroom for chicken soup.
