Sausage rice
Ingredients/Components
- chicken broth - 2 c
- bulk sausage, fried, crumbled and drained - 1 lb
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- bell pepper, chopped - 1/2 c
- celery, chopped - 1/2 c
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- garlic 2 cloves, chopped
- chicken livers, sauteed optional - 1/2 lb
- Good Seasons Italian dressing - 1 pkg
- rice - 1 c
How to make sausage rice:
Mix all ingredients in a casserole dish. Bake at 350° until rice absorbs liquid. Serve with French bread topped with garlic butter, Italian seasoning, Mozzarella cheese and broiled to melt cheese.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Pork sausage.
