Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- melted margarine - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 oz
- crushed cornflakes
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- cooked rice
- celery
- chopped cooked chicken - 5 c
- cans water chestnuts, drained and chopped - 2 oz
How to make hot chicken salad:
Mix first 8 ingredients in bowl. Spoon into 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Top with cornflakes and melted margarine. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Yield: 8 servings.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
