- buttermilk - 1 item
- self-rising flour
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- stick melted margarine - 1 item
- whole chicken or 4 breasts - 1 item
How to make chicken pie:
Place cooked chicken that has been deboned in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix 3 cups of broth and 1 can cream of chicken soup; pour over chicken. Mix flour, margarine, black pepper and enough buttermilk to make a thin batter; pour over chicken. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Meat.
