Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can chicken broth - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- whole chicken - 1 item
- sweet milk - 1 c
How to make chicken pie:
Boil chicken. Take meat off bone. Place chicken in a large casserole dish. Put chopped onion, salt and pepper. Set aside. Put cream of chicken soup and chicken broth in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour over chicken. Make sure broth gets under the chicken. Next melt margarine. Mix flour and milk until smooth. Add melted margarine. Stir until smooth. Pour over chicken. Do not stir.
