- milk - 6 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- margarine - 1 c
- cream - 2 c
- diced pimento - 1/2 c
- chicken broth - 4 c
- slivered almonds - 1 c
- chickens, cooked, boned and chopped - 2 item
- small can water chestnuts, sliced thin - 1 item
- chopped, cooked celery, cooked in approximately 1/4 c - 1/2 c
How to make chicken oriental:
Cook the first 6 ingredients to the consistency of custard. Add remaining ingredients. Heat well; serve over noodles. This freezes well, just thaw, heat thoroughly and pour over fresh cooked noodles.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
