Chicken lo mein
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 1/2 c
- vegetable oil, divided - 4 Tbsp
- onions, thinly sliced - 3 item
- boneless chicken breasts, cut in strips - 1 lb
- Chinese noodles, cooked - 1/4 lb
- bok choy slices - 1/2 lb
How to make chicken lo mein:
Cook Chinese noodles according to package directions; reserve. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in wok or skillet. Add garlic and onions. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Add bok choy and stir-fry for 2 minutes . Add remaining oil if needed. Add chicken and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients and add to wok or skillet, along with noodles. Stir well. Heat until hot, about 2 minutes.
