Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- cold water - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- soy sauce - 2 tsp
- chicken broth - 2 c
- sliced onions - 1 c
- celery, sliced thin - 2 c
- can mushrooms stems and pieces - 1 item
- can Chinese vegetables - 1 oz
- chicken, lobster, beef or shrimp - 2 c
How to make chow mein:
Boil for 1 minute. Put in lightly greased casserole and bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes. Serve with chow mein noodles.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Time to make.
