Chicken kiev
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- melted butter - 2/3 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- oregano - 1 tsp
- basil - 1 tsp
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- parsley - 1/8 c
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 3 Tbsp
- garlic - 1/2 tsp
- apple juice
- chicken breast cutlets - 4 item
- reserved butter - 1 item
How to make chicken kiev:
Sauce:1/2 c. apple juice1/2 c. chopped onion1/8 c. parsley reserved butter Melt butter. Dip chicken breasts in butter. Set aside melted butter after dipping chicken. Combine bread crumbs, cheese, spices, salt and pepper. Dip chicken in crumb mixture to coat. Arrange in 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.While baking, combine sauce ingredients, including reserved butter and pour over chicken. Cover loosely with foil and bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes more or until chicken is done. Garnish with paprika and parsley. Serves 4 to 6.
