Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • honey - 1/2 c
  • orange juice - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chicken broth - 1/2 c
  • grated orange rind - 1 Tbsp
  • bread crumbs - 1 c
  • chicken, cut up - 1 item

How to make honey chicken:

Combine bread crumbs, orange rind, salt and pepper. Dip chicken in orange juice. Roll in crumb mixture. Place in greased shallow pan. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.

Combine broth, butter, honey and remaining orange juice. Heat until butter is melted. Pour over chicken. Continue baking for 30 minutes longer, basting occasionally.
