Ingredients/Components
- chicken - 1 (3
- can condensed cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can condensed cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can chopped green chilies - 1 oz
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- dried minced onion - 1 item
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Tabasco sauce - 1/4 tsp
- chicken broth - 1 c
- corn chips - 4 c
- sharp Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
How to make chicken enchilada pie:
Cook and bone chicken; reserve 1 cup of broth. Combine soup, broth, peppers. spices and Tabasco sauce. Mix well. Cover 2 1/2 or 4-quart casserole. Start with corn chips in bottom, then chicken, soup mixture and a layer of cheese. Continue, ending with a layer of cheese on top.
