  • can condensed cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • can condensed cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • can chopped green chilies - 1 oz
  • chili powder - 1 tsp
  • dried minced onion - 1 item
  • garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Tabasco sauce - 1/4 tsp
  • chicken broth - 1 c
  • corn chips - 4 c
  • sharp Cheddar cheese - 8 oz

How to make chicken enchilada pie:

Cook and bone chicken; reserve 1 cup of broth. Combine soup, broth, peppers. spices and Tabasco sauce. Mix well. Cover 2 1/2 or 4-quart casserole. Start with corn chips in bottom, then chicken, soup mixture and a layer of cheese. Continue, ending with a layer of cheese on top. Preheat oven to 350° and bake 25 or 30 minutes.
