Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- whole chicken - 1 item
- Lipton chicken noodle soup mix - 1 pkg
- small amount of Crisco - 1 item
How to make chicken fricassee:
Flour, salt and pepper chicken. Brown chicken in small amount of Crisco. As each piece gets brown, take out of skillet and cool. Remove all meat from bones.Make gravy with grease, about 3 tablespoons flour, salt and pepper and about 2 cups of water. Add soup mix. Mix well, then add chicken. Simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
