Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1/3 c
- margarine - 1/3 c
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- cooked chicken
- chicken broth
- curry powder - 1 Tbsp
- sliced celery - 1/3 c
- medium apple, diced - 1 item
How to make chicken curry:
Cook onions and celery in margarine until softened. Blend in flour, salt and curry powder. Gradually stir in milk and chicken broth. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly; add chicken and apples. Cover and cook gently for 5 minutes. Serve over rice.Condiments: Celery, raisins, toasted coconut, chopped egg, pickle relish and bacon bits.
